March 3 – 5, 2027 · Europa-Park Rust

Visionary Track

A space for the questions we don't have time for in our day-to-day work.

The Visionary Track is a program offered by DevLand, taking place from March 3 to 5, 2027, at Europa-Park in Rust, for IT decision-makers who want to understand what AI, sovereignty, and data architecture mean for their businesses.

For whom

Decision-makers with responsibility for budgets and technology.

What happens

Short presentations, followed by moderated roundtable discussions in small groups.

What to take with you

Prioritized action list, follow-up summary, peer network.

Two days that build on each other.

From the exclusive opening to the workday and a look behind the scenes. The Visionary Track is structured as a continuous narrative, not as a collection of individual program items.

#1 Exclusive Dining at eatrenalin

Wednesday Evening

An eight-course meal prepared by four two-star chefs. An informal kickoff where the group gets to know one another.

#2 Full-Day Roundtable & Workshop

Thursday

Exclusive keynote presentations by the Visionaries, a moderated discussion, and a review of last year's topics.

#3 Actionable Summary for all

After the event

A prioritized summary of the topics discussed, including specific action items for the coming year.

#4 Exclusive Executive Event

Friday

Guided tour behind the scenes at the park's IT facilities. A look at the systems that support tens of thousands of visitors every day.

Peer-to-peer exchange on an equal footing.

Many organizations are currently undergoing multiple transformations at the same time. They want to move faster without ignoring risks. They need to enhance security and compliance, while roles, responsibilities, and skill sets are shifting noticeably.

We distill complex technical topics down to their essence so that the business implications become clear. Each roundtable follows the same structure: two to three five-minute presentations provide shared points of reference, after which the group continues its discussion under moderation. The goal is first to establish a shared understanding of the current situation, and then to create a prioritized list of decisions and next steps.

What came out last time.

The Visionary Track 2026 identified six core themes. In 2027, we'll build on that: Returning participants will share what they've been able to implement, and new perspectives will be added.

AI is an organizational issue

Not a data problem, but a context problem

Knowledge is disappearing – right now

Open Source as an invisible enabler

Sovereignty = capacity to act

Cooperation beats solo efforts

We're in the eight-minute mark.

All six core topics, the twelve rules of the AI era, and the key takeaways from last time – all condensed into a one-page recap (in German).

The biggest hurdle isn't technical. It's within ourselves.
